Fall in Love weekend Dallas
Join Us September 14th & 15th: Hike, Retreat, and Give Back with Sunday Forever!
Happy September,
I’m so excited for September. This year is passing us by, but the moments are not. I find myself savoring each one and going with the flow as much as possible even if sometimes the flow feels a bit out of my control. This is the time of the year when sometimes we overwhelm ourselves with our to-do lists, lists of goals, and holiday plans. Step by step we are entering this new season, a new season that God has already paved the way to be great. It has been so amazing to witness the growth of Sunday Forever. It’s been a year since I produced my last retreat in Dallas called Honoring Your Body. We meditated, moved, enjoyed guided writing, and then ended the day with a magical sound bath and meal sponsored by Crisp & Green, and everyone left with goodies from Lush Cosmetics. I was so grateful that some of my friends came to town to continue with the outpouring of love, we are so grateful for the favor we have to receive to secure donations. Sunday Forever is also possible with the companies who believe in my dreams.
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with my desire to flirt with life. Blame on the fact that I am a lover girl and very whimsical in how I choose to walk in faithfulness that all things are possible for me. The end of Summer, the beginning of Autumn, and Fall are perfect times to flirt with new opportunities, ideas, routines, and a vision for 2024. I’m not saying completely throw out your to-do list but instead, find stillness and time and space to bat your eyelashes at a new sense of purpose.
Sunday Forever is for the lovers, for the storytellers, and through our events, we can connect and expand with other men and women interested in creating and cultivating better days. Sunday Forever events are a sanctuary and I am so happy to introduce my Fall in Love Weekend to Dallas. This will be our second retreat in Dallas, an idea that I had a year ago. Did you know that we’ll be celebrating four years in November? This weekend will allow me to introduce New Roots Foundation, Incorporated my non-profit, and the Generational Wealth housing grant that I hope will bless many for years to come.
I introduce to you Sunday Forever’s Fall in Love weekend in Dallas. A memorable weekend dedicated to embracing self-love and wellness through a series of mindful activities. On Saturday, September 14th we will be hosting a community hike at Cedar Ridge Preserve. This will be a lovely early morning, which will start with a gentle prayer and mobility workshop led by BodyWorkbyZay. Mobility exercises are important for giving us more movement options so we can explore how much usable range of motion we have. I’m excited to introduce these exercises to our community before we embark on a fun adventure! Thank you for the generous donations of Trader Joe’s we will be able to provide light refreshments and snacks during our hike. We will be journaling to end the day and breathing in all the fresh air while we give back to our bodies and relax our minds.
On Sunday, we’ll be surrendering to stillness. Falling deeper in love with ourselves and adding a little more romance into our lives. Starting with yoga, a sound bath and spending the next hour with writing exercises led by me and ending the day with a meal sponsored by Packin Bowls and a self-care vision board party with booze-free cocktails sponsored by Curious Elixirs. I love retreats so much, how often do we take the time out to do nothing, while also doing something because each hour we will be giving back to our mind, body, and soul.
The pleasant thing about flirting is that it may reward you with exactly what you are looking for. Who doesn’t love flirting especially if it is with yourself? I hope that is what the next few months do, remind us that we can always return home.
If you are in Dallas, I hope you will join us for our hike by RSVPing with this link or by purchasing a ticket for our intimate retreat. We only have limited spots available for the retreat, so be sure to secure yours soon! Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the New Roots Foundation, Incorporated Generational Wealth Housing grant. Join us or tell a friend! Sunday Forever is back.
