Hello, from Sunday Forever!

Love is..

Love is the reason I am here, and the main reason I started this newsletter Sunday Forever. Sunday Forever is a body of stories curated by me geared towards empowering readers to have a lifetime of wonderful Sunday’s. This is the very reason I wanted to start a newsletter. I wanted to show how connected we are and capture the richness of our shared experiences through prose. This project evolved when I introduced the concept to Kayla Salisbury. It is her illustrations that bring all of the beautiful words shared to life. 

My hope is that Sunday Forever is like your grandmother’s comfort food after a long day. My hope is that these stories make you feel good, like how Al Green’s “Love & Happiness” touches my mom. Or, in the words of Nikki Giovanni, “I hope that this is your cotton candy on a rainy day”. 

My hope is that one day, Sunday Forever will blossom into a book and will be able to connect women from all around the world. Growing up, writing and receiving letters was one of my love languages and favorite past times. I still believe in old-fashioned handwritten letters and I still love receiving them.
