I got myself to remind me of love
Oh! Loving Yourself.
Happy Sunday ya’ll,
This week I attended my first acupuncture session and my acupuncturist asked me about my week. I told her I was proud that my newsletter had finally taken root and blossomed. She responded, “Doesn’t it feel great when you open a door and the light comes in?”
December is a time of the year when most of us tend to reflect. We give ourselves report cards and judge our performance for the year. How did I do this year? Did I accomplish any of the goals I set? Have my ideas taken root and blossomed? We may compare our success to others. We may even fill our minds with “should have, would have, could have”. I want you to know strength is a start. Each morning we rise with the sun and reach for stars. We attempt to make a better day for ourselves than yesterday. During these trying times, it took family and friends, Zoom happy hours, birthdays in the park, trying new recipes, basketball in the bubble, joining a book club, and binge-watching a new show to make us feel for a moment that things are right in the world.
My heart is with everyone who has lost loved ones, who have lost income, and those who have simply wanted to give up.
I hope you open the door and let the light come in. I hope that you end this year in a way that makes you feel complete. I look forward to connecting with you in the new year. We at Sunday Forever, look forward to bringing you more stories and joy through our shared experiences.
