Thank You, God
Sundays feel like forever now—like a reminder that we always get to begin again.
Happy Sunday,
I love fullness and learning to appreciate everything in a whole way that brings me back to myself, my own company, and time with people that are solid and secure reflections of who I am and how much joy I deserve.
I don’t think it’s impossible to enjoy every day. You have to accept that you are a human living in a world full of distractions, and still choose presence.
How could you not stay in awe of a God who paints a different sunrise and sunset every day—reminding us that we are constantly evolving, never the same, always becoming?
I want to stay near Him, and to beauty, and to all the wonders of the world.
Every morning God reminds us how much He loves us as we watch the sunrise, and when we get to wipe away the day at sunset, knowing we did our best.
You have to remember that God always keeps His promises, and that you keep your word to yourself.
Some people haven’t discovered yet that they don’t have to harden themselves or live in offense. We don’t need validation from the world—we need forgiveness for the times we’ve placed the world before Him, the One who has the whole world in His hands.
33 has reminded me that I am created in His image. I am already whole, already loved, already His. My favorite prayer is simple: thank You, God.
Thank you, I don’t have to chase or force what is not mine. Fullness isn’t just in big moments—it’s in the daily habits and small rituals that remind us of love.
Right now I’m enjoying my rituals, my focus on rest, on creating a life that feels like a sanctuary. I am water—still, soft, open.
Letting pool days be the catalyst for a “cheap vacation,” a reminder that joy doesn’t always have to be far away or expensive.
I’m so grateful for the environment I’ve cultivated in Dallas. I am always falling in love again—knowing, from His flawless track record, that I’ll be living completely differently this time next year.
Have you noticed how, when something grows in the right environment, it radiates even more?
Last Sunday was another reminder of renewal—a reminder to receive and let life surprise you in so many ways. Instead of the Sunday scaries, especially in this recently funemployed era I’m in—my first week since the show ended, where I easily could have worried—I’ve been reminded that goodness is still present and still unfolding.
After church, my mom surprised me with a day at World Springs with her and my godmom. It felt like a rebirth—getting to do one of the things I love most, resting in the pools, coming back to stillness after worship, and enjoying frozé’s courtesy of a new friend.
I’m so grateful for moments like that, and for how my mom constantly shows up for me in life—in both big and small ways, through the things I really need, and most importantly, through her care. I appreciate how my family and friends make life easier for me, and I do the same for them.
It reminds me that God, our Father, is always supplying our every need, and He delights in being good to us. He delights in seeing us grow, and just because we are aging doesn’t mean we have to age ourselves. We can have a fresh new attitude every day.
I’m proud of myself, but even more focused on the deeper work—becoming. God honors the work we do behind the scenes and in our hearts.
Sundays feel like forever now—like a reminder that we always get to begin again. Rest is not a pause in life. It’s part of the promise.
Thank You, God.
